Little Free Library Love

Have you every taken a moment to stop by a Little Free Library to see what treasures it holds? Little Free Libraries have popped up all over the country and that makes my bibliophile heart so happy! I first spotted them around area schools, and now they are popping up in our Village area here in our hometown! I love to drop off books I have read and I think someone else would enjoy! I know many people have also discovered great books while searching their local Little Free Library. You can leave a book, or take a book. Or both! I consider this a fun alternative to donating or selling, to share more book love with the world and local community!

On a recent trip to visit my parents in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, I dropped off a book I had finished, at the cutest Little Free Library at Islanders Beach Park. I mean, seriously, it’s designed as a mini beach house, with chairs, mermaids, etc! I dropped off the book, At The Coffee Shop of Curiosities by Heather Webber. This novel was the perfect beach read! So, I thought I’d leave it on the Island for someone else to enjoy for their vacation! That morning my husband found a copy of, The House Across The Lake, by Riley Sager, and he was so thrilled!

If you haven’t already stopped by a Little Free Library, this Fall season is a great time to give it a try! Don’t forget to bring a book with to leave for someone else to enjoy! Happy Reading!
